Founded in 2023, the Design + Innovation Lab at Greenhill has two key goals:

  • To prepare and inspire students to lead authentic, purposeful lives through leadership in design, engineering, and innovation education.
  • To deliver high-quality professional services in product development, consumer research, software, automation, and engineering.

We are committed to empowering both the Greenhill and DFW communities and providing exceptional results for our clients.

Matt Abbondanzio
Director of Design and Innovation

Matt Abbondanzio

Director of Design and Innovation

Matt brings over 25 years of professional experience leading advanced teams in the high-tech and consumer product industry. He helped to develop technologies such as E-Ink and led the launch of several award-winning global products for companies such as S.C. Johnson, J.W. Speaker, and his own ventures.

Don Myers
Assistant Director of Design and Innovation

Don Myers

Assistant Director of Design and Innovation

Don Myers is a seasoned educator with 20 years of experience, including 12 at Greenhill School. As the Assistant Director of the Design and Innovation program, he fosters creativity and critical thinking. Holding degrees from Texas A&M and the University of North Texas, Don explores the impact of generative AI on education.

Luna Kim
UX/Design Teacher

Luna Kim

UX/UI Design Teacher

Luna Kim is an experienced UI/UX Designer and Front-end Engineer with over six years of experience in education. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, she focuses on integrating art, technology, and education to create immersive experiences inspired by industry practices.

Joe Meagher
Computer Science Teacher

Joe Meagher

Computer Science Teacher

Joe Meagher brings 20 years of industry experience to Greenhill, including running his own software consulting business for 13 of those years. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, he teaches computer science, game design, engineering, automation, and robotics and is most excited about inspiring his students to find their passions and pursue growth in all areas.

Taylor Reynolds
Lab Manager

Taylor Reynolds

Lab Manager

Taylor Reynolds ensures students are safe, well-trained, and welcomed into the lab to pursue all their innovative ideas. A University of Arkansas graduate, she was previously a Middle School educator at STEM-focused schools, where she created and enhanced STEM programs while training teachers and staff on the integration of STEM projects into core subjects.
